Stonington Community Center's DuBois Town Beach is 11 minutes from the home and is an especially nice beach for small children.

Built into the rear earth-sheltered wall of its impressive stone foundation is a double oven, one of the many curious and unique features of this genteel 1850's Victorian!
Today, the the carriage house houses three automobiles, and serves the gravel parking area behind the main home's kitchen and service staircase entrances. The upper, walk-out level of the carriage house offers a private entry to the unfinished space that is now framed for a beautiful one-bedroom accessory apartment with sleeping loft.
TOBACCO BARN
This one-and-a-half story, wood-framed barn with stone foundation features a custom chicken coup, an enclosed pen, a stall with dutch door and a run in stall, as well as a hay loft! Charming and functional, this Tobacco Barn is a cherished structure on the Anguilla House Farmstead. The structure is built into the hillside, in close proximity to the main home and carriage house and has water and electricity.
SIX STALL BARN
This two-and-a-half story, wood-framed barn is equipped with 220 amp electrical service, heat, and water. The lowest level features three stalls, a concrete floor, and is open to a fenced barnyard. The main floor features three stalls and tack area and currently functions as a charming country boutique. The main floor's exterior entry is covered by a lean-to roof extension that serves as a lovely outdoor seating area that runs the length of the structure, that can serves many purposes on a farmstead (https://www.horizonstructures.com/blog/dont-forget-overhang-when-barn-building) The barn also features a floored, upper half-story, for storage or other use.
CHICKEN COUP
What a wonderful home for your hens! This custom designed coup has a roost for three layers at a clip and a run that offers a safe place for your feathered friends to exercise outside of the hen house. The coup is aesthetically built into the Tobacco barn's sloped, side yard, with water and electrical on-site. The free range hens at Anguilla are very happy, but they do not convey.
Dinner time for hens at Anguilla House is natural pest control for the property, serving flies, mosquitoes, ticks, and all kinds of insects; hens provide the best compost your garden could ask for; you'll have fresh eggs every morning, of course; and, you'll also have feathered friends for life!
